અમેરિકાના પૂર્વ રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ડોનાલ્ડ ટ્રમ્પ પર પેન્સિલવેનિયા રેલી દરમિયાન જાનલેવો હુમલો થયો. શૂટરે પાછળથી ગોળી ચલાવી હતી, જે છત પરથી ફાયર કરવામાં આવી હતી. સીક્રેટ સર્વિસે તરત જ કાર્યવાહી કરીને બંને શૂટરને ઠાર માર્યા, એક શૂટરનો મૃતદેહ બિલ્ડિંગ પર મળી આવ્યો.

5 નવેમ્બરએ યોજાનારી રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ચૂંટણીને લઈ ડોનાલ્ડ ટ્રમ્પ પેન્સિલવેનિયામાં જનસભાને સંબોધન કરી રહ્યા હતા. એ દરમિયાન ગોળીઓના અવાજથી લોકોમાં અફરાતફરી મચી ગઈ. ટ્રમ્પને ગોળી વાગ્યાની સાથે જ કાનને સ્પર્શ કર્યો અને તરત નીચે બેસી ગયા. ગાર્ડ્સેએ તેમને ઘેરી લીધો અને સુરક્ષા માટે વ્યવસ્થા કરી.

ટ્રમ્પનું બહાદુરી ભર્યું પ્રતિક્રિયા

ટ્રમ્પે ગોળી વાગ્યાના થોડા સમયમાં જ ઊભા થઈને પોતાનું વિજય ચિન્હ દર્શાવ્યું. તેમનું હિંમતભર્યું વર્તન દર્શાવે છે કે તેમની હિમ્મત એક ટકો પણ નહી હલી. તેના મોઢા પર અને કાન પર થોડું લોહી દેખાયું. ગાર્ડ્સે તેમને તરત જ ગાડીમાં બેસાડ્યા.

ટ્રમ્પે હુમલા બાદ ટ્વીટ કરી કહ્યું કે, તેઓ સારા છે અને ગોળી તેમના કાનમાંથી પસાર થઈ. તેમનો ઈલાજ થઈ રહ્યો છે અને તેમણે ગોળીની અવાજ સાંભળતાં જ અહેસાસ કરી લીધો કે કંઈક ગડબડ છે.

શૂટર્સનો અંત

સીક્રેટ સર્વિસે તાત્કાલિક જવાબી કાર્યવાહી કરીને બંને શૂટરને ઠાર માર્યા. આ ઘટનામાં તેઓએ મક્કમ પગલાં લીધાં અને હુમલાખોરોને થનગનાવી દીધા.
