Nida Khan Arrested in Nashik TCS Conversion and Exploitation Case

In a major breakthrough in the controversial Nashik TCS conversion and sexual exploitation case, police have arrested key accused Nida Khan after she remained absconding for nearly 25 days. The arrest was made from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, formerly known as Aurangabad, following a technical surveillance operation conducted by the Nashik Police Special Investigation Team (SIT).

According to investigators, Nida Khan allegedly played a central role in influencing the victim to convert her religion and was also accused of assisting other accused persons in the alleged sexual exploitation and harassment of the woman employee.

Court Rejected Anticipatory Bail Plea

Before her arrest, Nida Khan had approached the court seeking anticipatory bail, citing pregnancy as grounds for relief. However, the court rejected her application after observing that the case appeared to involve a planned conspiracy aimed at brainwashing the victim and eventually sending her to Malaysia.

Investigators claim that Nida Khan used her position within the company to pressure the victim into adopting Islamic practices. Police sources allege that the victim was forced to wear a burqa, read religious texts and install specific religious applications on her mobile phone.

The SIT has also revealed that preparations were allegedly being made to change the victim’s name to “Haniya” and facilitate her travel abroad.

Serious Allegations by Victim

During court proceedings, the victim’s lawyers argued that the accused hurt her religious sentiments and subjected her to mental and emotional harassment. The complaint further alleges that she was pressured to consume non-vegetarian food against her wishes and faced caste-based humiliation inside the workplace.

Police officials confirmed that a total of eight people have been arrested so far in connection with the case.

TCS Suspends Employees Named in Case

IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has taken a strict stance in the matter. The company stated that it maintains a zero-tolerance policy against workplace harassment or coercion of any kind.
