India beat Australia by 5 wickets in the third T20I. Shubman Gill failed again, while Sara Tendulkar’s disappointed reaction went viral on social media.

Hobart: In the third T20I match played between India and Australia, the Indian team won by 5 wickets in a thrilling manner and leveled the series 1-1. Shubman Gill flopped again during the match, but the discussion was more on his video than his runs.

Shubman Gill was out LBW after scoring just 15 runs in 12 balls. When he was out on Nathan Ellis’s ball, the camera captured the reaction of Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar, who was sitting in the stands. The disappointment on Sara’s face was clearly visible. The video quickly went viral on social media and many users commented —

“Sara’s heart is broken along with Gill.”

This is not the first time that Sara has been in the news during a match. Even before, when he was present at the stadium, his name was associated with Shubman Gill. Rumours of their relationship have been going on for a long time, although neither of them has ever said anything publicly about the issue.

Batting first in the match, Australia posted a challenging score of 186 runs. Marcus Stoinis (64) and Tim David (74) played a noble innings. Arshdeep Singh was the most successful bowler for India — taking 3 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, India started very poorly. But Washington Sundar batted brilliantly and showed the team the direction of victory for just 49 runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh also made important contributions. India achieved the target in 18.6 overs and won the match by 5 wickets.

With this win, India took a 2-1 lead in the three-match T20 series.
