Education Minister Rivaba Jadeja felicitated shining students of BAOU in Wankaner

Wankaner, Morbi: Grand felicitation function was organized at Amarsinhji Educational Complex, Wankaner for the meritorious students of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU), to honor the academic brilliance and uplift the youth. The event was presided over by Gujarat’s Minister of State for Primary, Secondary and Adult Education, Rivaba Jadeja and the inspiring presence of Rajya Sabha MP Kesridevsinh Zala.

The function was organized at the auditorium of Smt. Kumudben Mehta Arts and Commerce College, under the Wankaner Education Society to celebrate the outstanding achievements of students of the academic sessions from August 2019 to 2025. During the event, the 10 meritorious students were awarded gold and silver medals and certificates for their excellent academic achievement in various BAOU courses. Moreover, the dignitaries also felicitated 25 talented students who bagged medals in state-level skill-enhancement competitions ‘Tejtrusha’ giving a great boost to their future endeavors and overall career development.

Speaking on the occasion, Education Minister Rivaba Jadeja appreciated the great dedication of the winning students. She congratulated them with all her heart and wished them all the best in their educational and professional future, stressing the importance of continuous skill development.

The event was a great success and many notable guests were present like Jayantibhai Rajkotia, community leader, Kamlesh Mota, Morbi District Education Officer, Sonalben Doshi, Kalpendubhai Mehta, Wankaner Education Society Vise President and Anantray Mehta, Honorary Secretary. Prominent BAOU officials like Rajkot Regional Director Harshvardhanji, Coordinator Dr. Sheetalben Shah and Brijeshbhai Barsara, school principals, parents and a large number of students were present to motivate the youth and celebrate their educational milestones.
