The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, APSCHE, has announced the revised first phase counseling schedule for AP PGECET 2026. Key updates for MTech and MPharmacy admissions. Today, October 5, 2026, the council has opened the window for web options editing in the combined counseling process for GATE, GPAT and AP PGECET qualified candidates. This is a vital chance for applicants to review and change their previously submitted college and course choices before the final processing is carried out.
The first deadline for registering web options closed on October 4, according to the revised schedule. Only those candidates who were actively involved during the process of preference selection are now eligible for today’s exclusive editing facility. Strategic changes are highly recommended as the final seat allotment would be strictly based on a combination of the candidate’s entrance rank, academic eligibility, reservation category and the final order of preferences locked in the system today.
The eligible candidates have to log in to the official AP PGECET counseling portal using their registered credentials to make changes. On successful login they are directed to web options section where they can view their current choice and re-arrange the hierarchy of their preferred colleges and courses. Once you are done with the changes you need to save and submit the updated list. It is highly advised to take a printout of the final choices for future reference during the admission stages.
APSCHE will process these options henceforth and the results of the first phase seat allotment will be declared on October 9, 2026. Those who get a seat in this round will have to self report and physically report to respective institutions between 10th October and 14th October, 2026. The academic sessions for the new batch are slated to commence on October 12 to ensure the academic calendar is on track. The candidates who could not get their desired seat in this round can wait for further instructions for the next phases of counseling.
