GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Vacancies, Eligibility, Qualification, Age Limit
- Total Vacancies:
- Staff Nurse, Class-3: 131 Posts
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Nursing) degree OR a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) obtained from an institution recognized by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both is required.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age will be calculated as of 12 October 2026.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted as per GSSSB rules and includes the following stages:
- Competitive Written Exam (MCQ Based): A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Paper-1 and Paper-2, maintaining the minimum qualifying standard.
- Document Verification: Candidates up to roughly twice the number of category-wise vacancies will be called for document verification based on the provisional merit list.
- Final selection will be based on merit and category-wise available vacancies.
GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern
- Paper-1 (Nursing Subject): 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
- Paper-2 (Gujarati Language): 100 multiple-choice questions (Language 30, Grammar 40, Literature 30) for 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
- Negative Marking: A penalty of 1/4 (0.25) mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
