Morbi: Reliving old memories, bringing past experiences into the present, sometimes gives life a new impulse of energy. With this inspiring thought a grand and nostalgic reunion of the 1995-96 Primary Teachers Certificate (PTC) batch was organized on Sunday, October 4 at the historic Hunter Training College in Morbi.
For three long decades, trainees studied within these historic walls, training to become primary teachers. Old friends reunite on the sturdy and historic campus of Hunter College, reliving the golden days of their college life. The primary teachers in this particular batch who were serving in different districts of Gujarat participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
The program started in a traditional and respectful manner with a prayer. Afterward, the attendees observed a two-minute silence to pay a heartfelt tribute to the teachers and classmates who passed away over the last 30 years. In an atmosphere of warmth and emotion, the batchmates shared inspiring stories of their mentors and relived their deep friendships.
And to make the reunion even more memorable, the group took a tour of the city’s rich heritage. The visiting teachers were very happy and proud to see the modern development of Morbi with its preserved history. The local alumni of 1995-96 batch from Morbi took great efforts to organize this flawless event which concluded with community dinner before the teachers departed to their respective hometowns with fresh memories.
